The spending continues in Florida, just not where you might think.

The Florida Panthers continued their assault on the offseason, as they signed former Tampa Bay Lightning forward Sean Bergenheim to a four-year contract.

The Panthers have been real busy, even in the offseason's infancy. Already, they've added Scottie Upshall, Ed Jovanovski, Brian Campbell, Tomas Kopecky, Jose Theodore and Marcel Goc.

Additionally, the Panthers also traded for Kris Versteeg from the Flyers in exchange for draft picks.
