Michael Vick Says Wide Receiver DeSean Jackson May Not Report to Training Camp on Time

While the Patriots were able to avoid a messy lockout, the Philadelphia Eagles don't appear to be as lucky.

Michael Vick told ESPN.com that he talked to his two-time Pro Bowl wide receiver DeSean Jackson and that he isn't sure if Jackson will show up on time or not.

"I spoke to DeSean yesterday, and we're trying to figure out what's going to happen," Vick said. "Hopefully he'll be here tomorrow. DeSean just has to think about it and has some decisions to make that only himself can make."

Jackson is in the last year of his rookie contract, which pays him a base salary of $560,000. He's vastly outperformed that number, though, leading the league in yards per catch (18.3) and punt return yards (1,112) since 2008 (his rookie season).

The Eagles will have a lot of questions to answer in the coming weeks, as the Jackson situation adds to the team's current situation with backup quarterback Kevin Kolb, who could be traded before long.
