Red Sox Ticket Price Increase on Secondary Market Greater Than Average Cost of Dodgers Ticket

When the Red Sox got off to their slow start, you can forgive fans for being hesitant to dish out the big bucks in order to secure a trip to Fenway. Now that the Sox are cruising and own first place in the AL East, things are much different.

According to SeatGeek, the average price of Red Sox tickets on the secondary market has increased $23 from the first half of the season to the second half of the season. To put this in context, SeatGeek says the average cost of a Dodgers ticket on Friday was just $21.55.

The average cost of Sox tickets is $111 in the second half of the season.
