Tom Brady No. 1 on NFL Network’s ‘Top 100,’ Calls Peyton Manning Greatest of All Time

Tom Brady can take over a game as well as anyone in the league. He frustrates top defensive players like Ray Lewis and Darelle Revis with poise and precision and his ability to read every defensive scheme thrown at him.

But there's one word that defines why Tom Brady is so well respected: Winning.

Brady's latest win came Sunday night as he was voted the No. 1 player on the NFL Network's "Top 100" list. Indianpolis quarterback Peyton Manning came in at No.2.

However, Brady thought the commander of the Colts offense was more deserving to top this years list.

"To me, he's the greatest of all time,"Brady told NFL Network's Lindsey Soto following the award.

"He’s a friend of mine, and someone that I always watch and admire, because he always wants to improve, he always wants to get better, and he doesn’t settle for anything less than the best.

"So when you watch the best and you’re able to learn from the best, hopefully that helps me get better."

Brady had one of the best years of his career in 2010 despite a loss to the New York Jets in the AFC Divisional round of the playoffs.

Brady threw for 36 touchdowns, second only to the 50 he threw in 2007, and a career low four interceptions, throwing 339 consecutive passes without a pick.
