The "Red Sox Showdown for the Ages" is two rounds in, and the search for the best all-time Red Sox lineup has just begun.

When baseball fans think of the Red Sox, Fenway Park, and its iconic Green Monster, often come to mind. Perhaps right after that, should come the thought of all of the great players who have ever played in front of that wall in left field for the Red Sox.

The Sox have had an incredible history of All-Star left fielders. Of course, there was Ted Williams, likely the greatest pure hitter of all time. Then, there was Carl Yastrzemski, baseball's last Triple Crown winner. Following him was recent Hall of Fame inductee Jim Rice. And rounding out the list of legendary left fielders was Manny Ramirez, whose career was tarnished by positive drug tests but is undeniably one of the best hitters ever.
