Deutsche Bank Executives Ring Opening Bell at New York Stock Exchange Monday Morning

Deutsche Bank executives rang the Opening Bell at the New York Stock Exchange on Monday morning, one day before the 2011 Deutsche Bank Championship is set to tee off.

The annual golf tournament, which will be held Aug. 30 through Sept. 5 at TPC Boston in Norton, Mass., has a record $8 million purse and $1.44 million winner's check this year, its fifth as a stop on the PGA Tour playoffs.

It all begins Tuesday with the Deutsche Bank Legends & Friends Pro-Am, professional practice rounds on Wednesday and the Championship Pro-Am on Thursday. The four-round, 72-hole main event gets under way Friday and will wrap up on Labor Day, Sept. 5.

This year's tournament runs in conjunction with Military Appreciation Week, in which active, reserve and retired military members and their dependents will be given complimentary grounds admission for each day of the tournament. Military service men and women are expected to show military identification or proof of military insurance in order to gain entry to TPC Boston for free.
