Liverpool on Wednesday announced that the club completed the signing of American teenaged striker Villyan Bijev.
Bijev, 18, reportedly agreed to terms of a three-year deal with Liverpool in July, but the deal was not finalized until just before Wednesday's transfer deadline.
The Fresno, Calif., native has notched his share of goals from U-16 to U-18. A striker for the California Odyssey, Bijev impressed Liverpool during a trial at the Development Academy this summer.
