So it looks like the Patriots have life after Tom Brady.

At least Pro Bowl wide receiver Roddy White believes they do, after watching rookie Ryan Mallett rough up the Jaguars and their first-round pick on Thursday night.

The three-time Pro Bowler who bagged 21 touchdowns over the last two seasons praised Mallett, and in doing so, took a shot at this year's 10th overall draft pick, Blaine Gabbert. White claims that Mallett, a third-round pick by the Pats in this year's draft, will be better than Gabbert, the third QB selected in April.

White tweeted: "Ryan mallett 12-16 for 174 and a TD got all the way to the 3rd round gone be a great player in this league and blaine gabbert 9-16 85 yards I can bet he won't be better than mallett."
