Carmelo Anthony Shows Support on BGC Global Charity Day With $260 Million Trade

Carmelo Anthony took his talents to the New York Knicks last season, but last Monday, he took his checkbook to Wall Street on Boys and Girls Country global charity day.

The New York Knicks star forward completed a $260 million trade last week as part the event, during which funds were raised to commemorate the attacks of Sept. 11.

He was at the event representing his personal charity, the Carmelo Anthony Foundation, but Anthony added, "Most importantly, I just wanted to come show my support to all the families, the Warrior Project, the Carmelo Anthony Foundation, BGC, everybody."

$260 million is a lot of money — do you think he can write that off when he files his tax returns. If the NBA misses the 2011 season, he may need to.
