Fan With Stun Gun Subdued at Jets-Cowboys Game on Sunday Night

Of all the days when fans should be their most respectful and security should be most vigilant at large gatherings, the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks would seem to be right up there.

A fan at Sunday night's game against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium wasn't about to keep such a solemn anniversary from spoiling his obnoxious behavior. In a video posted on Deadspin, fans can be seen (and heard) subduing a man in a Cowboys jersey and preventing him from using a Taser or some other type of electric stun device.

While this incident is disappointing for humanity in general, it's also disappointing given the stadium's policy "to ensure the highest level of safety and security" for all guests. Sunday would seem like a logical day to be extra careful about preventing a prohibited device from being smuggled into a packed stadium. Maybe that's just me being a prude.
