Milwaukee Brewers, Center Fielder Nyjer Morgan Dress Up as Cowboys During Road Trip (Photos)

A baseball season can be long and monotonous, and teams usually look for any excuse to mix things up and keep everyone's spirits from flagging during the dog days of summer.

That could explain why the Milwaukee Brewers dressed up as cowboys as they departed Houston for a road trip in St. Louis, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Manager Ron Roenicke suggested the theme and many players bought in, "[buying] cowboy hats, shirts, big belt buckles and boots to wear," according to the article.

Center fielder Nyjer Morgan bought in wholeheartedly and reportedly created a new alter ego, "Tony Tombstone," to replace his other persona of "Tony Plush."

Morgan also posted pictures to his Twitter account of Tony Tombstone and the Brewers travel party. Check out the pictures below.
