Which Red Sox Pitcher Will Be Amica Pitcher of the Week This Week? The Red Sox depart Sunday for a seven-game road trip against their AL East brethren in Toronto and Tampa Bay. Starting pitching, as usual, will be crucial in determining how much success they have this week away from Fenway Park.

Josh Beckett starts Monday in a Labor Day matinee at Rogers Centre, followed by Jon Lester on Tuesday. Knuckleballer Tim Wakefield makes his seventh attempt at his 200th career win when he goes up against Brandon Morrow Wednesday in Toronto, and Andrew Miller battles to prove he still belongs in the rotation Thursday against Blue Jays ace Ricky Romero. Erik Bedard, who earned his first victory as a member of the Red Sox on Saturday, would pitch Friday.

Any of these games could produce an outstanding performance worthy of Amica Pitcher of the Week honors. Of course, Jonathan Papelbon and Daniel Bard might have something to say about it, too, as could any member of the bullpen.
