David Krejci Leaves Bruins Practice Early With Apparent Injury

WILMINGTON, Mass. — The Bruins’ struggling top line took another hit in practice on Tuesday, when center David Krejci left the ice early after suffering an apparent injury.

In his post-practice meeting with the media, Bruins coach Claude Julien didn’t have much information on how serious the injury was.

“I can’t really tell you the severity of it right now,” Julien said. “He’s being looked at. I’ll probably be able to give you more when we find out more.”

Julien would not even identify the exact location of Krejci’s injury. When asked if it was a lower-body or upper-body, Julien joked, “It’s a body injury.”

Julien also did not know yet if Krejci would be unable to make the team’s first road trip of the season. The Bruins play at Carolina on Wednesday and in Chicago on Saturday before returning home.

“I don’t know yet,” Julien said. “If he doesn’t [make the trip], he’ll be behind getting checked out. I just don’t know how severe it is right now.”
