Chargers tight end Randy McMichael, in his 10th season in the NFL, had some parting shots for the Jets after New York beat San Diego 27-21.
"Their secondary isn't anything," McMichael said, according metro.us. "It's our fault. It had nothing to do with anyone on their team. The guys in this locker room, we lost the game.
"We had them down and we took our foot off the gas," he added. "I'm not giving credit to anybody. This is our fault. … You can ask any question you want to ask. The San Diego Chargers beat the San Diego Chargers. Nothing to do with the New York Jets. It's embarrassing, but it is what it is.
"They won. I'm not giving anyone credit. I'm taking the credit away from us."
McMichael's tirade was pretty clear, and Ryan was asked about them on Monday. His answer was pretty straightforward, too.
"Stay classy, San Diego," Ryan said.
