Wide receiver Terrell Owens has fully recovered from surgery on an ACL tear in April and has been cleared to play football by doctors.
Owens' agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said a plan is in place to hold workouts for potentially interested teams, according to NFL.com. Rosenhaus said Owens is ready to get back to playing football.
"I just watched him work out. He's great. He's ready to rock," Rosenhaus said of Owens. "He's been cleared, and we don't anticipate him having any problems being medically cleared by teams."
One of those teams could be the Tennessee Titans, who lost top wide receiver Kenny Britt to an ACL injury in Week 3. Titans head coach Mike Munchak said he would be interested in Owens if he is healthy enough to pass a physical.
"A lot is going to depend for us on how we are producing at that position three weeks or two weeks from now," Munchak said. "All those things will factor into it. But I'm sure whenever you've got a player that has his capabilities, everyone's going to know exactly where he's at. If he has a way of helping our team win, then for sure you're going to take a look at him."
The 37-year-old free agent has not played since Dec. 19 as a member of Cincinnati Bengals. He caught 72 passes for 983 yards and nine touchdowns in 14 games last season.
