Report: Four Teens Charged in Death of Former NFL Quarterback Erik Kramer’s Son

Four teenagers reportedly have been charged in the death of Griffen Kramer, the son of retired NFL quarterback Erik Kramer. Three of the four Southern California teens were charged with involuntary manslaughter.

Griffen, 18, died Oct. 30 from a drug overdose and was found dead in a friend's bedroom. The friend, David Nemberg is being charged with involuntary manslaughter and possession of a controlled substance, CNN reports.

Corey Baumann, an aquaintance of Griffen, was also charged with involuntary manslaughter and possession of a controlled substance for sales, according to CNN.

Both Baumann and Nemberg were reportedly released on $125,000 bail.

The two other teenagers are minors and their names were not released. A 17-year-old boy was charged with involuntary manslaughter and possession of a controlled substance and is being held in a juvenile facility without bail.

A second 17-year-old boy was charged with possession of a controlled substance and was released to his parent's custody.

Authorities are still waiting on the results of the toxicology results to determine the cause of death, but investigators believe all signs point to a drug overdose.

Erik Kramer played 13 seasons in the NFL for 5 different teams. Griffen was a senior at Thousand Oaks High and the school's quarterback.
