Red Sox General Manager Ben Cherington Must Keep Hot Stove Burning This Winter
It's hard to believe the stove can get any hotter for the Red Sox than it did last offseason, when they made blockbuster deals to bring in Carl Crawford and Adrian Gonzalez.

This offseason, the Red Sox' troubles can't necessarily be fixed by focusing on statistics alone. In addition to finding pitching help, new general manager Ben Cherington must find players who will help assure clubhouse chemistry doesn't crumble as it did in 2011.

Cherington addressed some potential hot stove questions during a Twitter conversation with fans on Tuesday.

Cartoonist Will O'Toole implores Cherington to stay by the fire all winter long in the cartoon above.

Since graduating from Seton Hall University, Will O'Toole has been doing cartoons for over 30 years for a number of papers (USA Today), magazines (College and Pro Football Weekly) and websites (CBSSportsline.com). He is believed to be the only national cartoonist to have voted for the Heisman Trophy and the Wooden and Naismith Awards.
