Report: Tim Thomas Passes James Reimer as Top Goalie Vote-Getter for NHL All-Star Game

Like the Bruins this year, Tim Thomas has come on strong toward the end of 2011 and has finally passed James Reimer to re-claim the lead for goalie voting for the NHL All-Star Game.

Reimer had previously led Thomas by around 5,000 votes but now trails by roughly 10,000, according to Yahoo's Sean Leahy.

The latest figures show that Thomas has received 420,504 votes so far while Reimer is next with 410,342. Marc-Andre Fleury trails in third by a wide margin with less than 350,000 votes of his own.

Elsewhere for the B's, Zdeno Chara is in fifth place for defenseman voting, while Patrice Bergeron is has earned more than 100,000 votes.

Tyler Seguin's write-in campaign continues to pay dividends as well, as the young forward has received the second-most write-in votes, behind Detroit goalie Jimmy Howard.

Polls close on Jan. 4, so make sure to head on over to NHL.com and get your last-minute votes in for the Bruins.
