Tim Tebow Will Have to Prove He Can Beat Patriots With Arm, and Will Vince Wilfork Play Quarterback? (Podcast)

In case you're living in a dark, quiet cave, you know that the Patriots will travel to Denver this weekend to face Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos.

Tebow may be the biggest story in sports these days, as he's risen from third-string quarterback in the preseason to a starter with a 7-1 record. His delivery is ugly, and he's far from conventional, but he and his teammates are winning football games, and that's the only thing that matters.

To help explain how the Patriots are going to defend Tebow come Sunday afternoon, NESN.com Patriots reporter Jeff Howe talked with Michael Hurley about the Pats' game plan. Jeff expects the Patriots to crowd the line, take away the run and force Tebow to make big passes early in the game — something he's struggled to do.

Jeff also talked about Bill Belichick's history defending the Wildcat, the dangers of Denver's defense, and what the playoff picture looks for the Patriots in terms of a first-round bye.

He also fielded a somewhat-crazy but maybe-not-so-crazy idea about big Vince Wilfork turning into Tom Brady in the final weeks of the season.

Listen to all of that, plus a great/terrible Tim Tebow song, in the NESN podcast.
