Tom Brady’s Absence From Patriots’ Practice Not Injury Related

FOXBORO, Mass. — Tom Brady's absence from practice Wednesday was not injury related, according to the Patriots.

Left guard Logan Mankins (knee), left tackle Matt Light (ankle), linebacker Rob Ninkovich (hip) and linebacker Tracy White (abdomen) were new additions to this week's report. Mankins was injured during the first quarter of Saturday's victory against the Dolphins and did not practice Wednesday. Light, who did not play Saturday, was limited Wednesday along with Ninkovich and White.

Right tackle Sebastian Vollmer (foot, back) also missed practice.

Cornerback Kyle Arrington (foot), wide receiver Deion Branch (groin), safety Patrick Chung (foot), center Dan Connolly (groin), wide receiver Julian Edelman (back), linebacker Dane Fletcher (thumb), safety James Ihedigbo (shoulder), cornerback Devin McCourty (shoulder), wide receiver Matthew Slater (shoulder), linebacker Brandon Spikes (knee), running back Shane Vereen (hamstring), right guard Brian Waters (ankle) and wide receiver Wes Welker (knee) were also limited Wednesday.

Running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis (toe) was the only player taken off the injury report this week.
