Barack Obama Calls Brad Marchand ‘Little Ball of Hate’ During Bruins White House Visit (Video)

Putting his smooth way with words on display, Barack Obama eloquently congratulated the Boston Bruins on their first Stanley Cup Victory in 39 years.

With a game against the Capitals on Tuesday, the Stanley Cup champions made their celebratory trip to the White House on Monday.

While describing the Bruins’ season, Obama cracked jokes about Brad Marchand’s nickname, while making sure to remember how high the Cup was in the extended arms of Zdeno Chara.

Obama even recognized Tim Thomas’s brilliant performances in the net, though Thomas decided not to attend.
