Report: Derrick Rose Plans to Play Against Celtics After Missing Game With Sprained ToeDerrick Rose is good enough to go. The Bulls’ point guard, who sprained his left toe Tuesday against the Timberwolves, will play against the Boston Celtics on Friday night, ESPN.com reports.

Rose missed Wednesday’s game against the Wizard and was forced to wear a walking boot. But he is ready to get back into action against the C’s.

“He’s feeling a lot better,” Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said.

Rose may feel a lot better, but his replacement could be just as good if he is not at 100 percent. John Lucas III filled in for Rose against Washington and scored 25 points in 48 minutes.

The Chicago Bulls have won nine of their last 10 games while the Celtics have fallen to 4-5 with two straight loses after winning four straight games.
