Every once in a while, it seems that there is a huge fight in an NHL game. This is not one of those days.
The Bakersfield Condors and Ontario Reign took on each other in ECHL play on Saturday and it was fighters galore after a huge hit from Bakersfield’s Ian McKenzie on Ontario’s Kevin Estrada.
The announcers in the game went crazy as more and more fights got underway, including a goalie getting in on the action with his mask still intact. All in all, 278 penalty minutes were handed out as a result of the shenanigans.
As one of the announcers says, “It’s hysteria! Cats and dogs living together!”
