Yu Darvish Stirs Controversy by Wearing T-Shirt That Appears to Show Marijuana Leaf (Photo)

Recently acquired pitcher Yu Darvish decided to make the most of his first appearance in Texas, showing off a marijuana leaf T-shirt for the world to see.

But before anybody jumps on the "Darvish is a Pot Head" bandwagon, a Japanese news site reports that the explanation is that the shirt shows a Japanese maple leaf.

After signing Darvish, the Rangers were surely hoping he would channel his inner Tim Lincecum. But one would imagine that this wasn't what they had in mind.
