Manny Pacquiao‘s promoter Bob Arum responded to Floyd Mayweather‘s challenge, saying a fight was possible but not on the May 5 date Mayweather proposed.

Mayweather on Tuesday tweeted a challenge to Pacquiao to “give the world what they want to see.” Mayweather reportedly has booked the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for May 5.

Arum responded that May 5 does not work for Pacquiao, and that Pacquiao will “chip in lawyers’ fees” to push back Mayweather’s already delayed June 1 date to report for a 90-day jail sentence.

“June 9 is perfect,” Arum told the Los Angeles Times. “May 5 is out. That’s impossible.”
