Report: Redskins Linebacker Rocky McIntosh Hid Pillows Under Blanket to Fool Team While Missing Curfew

Rocky McIntosh may have watched "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" one too many times.

The Redskins linebacker missed curfew before the team's Week 17 game and attempted to cover it up by stuffing pillows under his blanket to make it appear as if he were sleeping in his hotel bed, according to ESPN Radio.

Redskins coach Mike Shanahan then deactivated McIntosh for Sunday's game against the Eagles. According to the report, other coaches wanted McIntosh to play, but Shanahan had the final say on the matter. It also notes that McIntosh had been late to a team meeting, so the buildup of miscues might have weighed on Shanahan's decision.

There is no indication in the report of why McIntosh skipped out on curfew, but we're guessing it wasn't to commandeer a parade float and lead a rendition of "Twist and Shout."
