Senator John Kerry Sporting Broken Nose, Black Eyes During Bruins’ Meeting With President Barack Obama

With the Bruins visiting President Barack Obama at the White House on Monday afternoon, it was Senator John Kerry who looked the most like a hockey player. The Democrat from Massachusetts was on hand to see the Bruins honored at the White House looking black and blue, and coincidentally enough, it was due to injuries sustained while playing hockey.

Kerry was playing "a friendly game of hockey over the Christmas break," according to TheHill.com.

It's not the first time Kerry's suffered hockey pains, though. The Washington Post noted that Kerry's 2009 hip surgery and 2005 knee surgery came as the result of sporting injuries.
