Carl Crawford, Kelly Shoppach Slated to Appear on ‘Red Sox Live From Fort Myers’ at 6 p.m. on NESN

The offseason is supposed to be a chance for some down time for major leagues. For Carl Crawford, this past offseason was anything but that.

Crawford was the center of a few stories this winter, most notably his wrist problems that led to surgery prior to camp. It's unclear when he'll be back, but the outfielder is already in camp working to get back as soon as possible.

He'll join Tom Caron and Peter Gammons on Red Sox Live From Fort Myers Presented by Jordan's Furniture on Wednesday night where he'll discuss the progress of his rehab for that injury. New Sox catcher Kelly Shoppach will also join TC and Peter from JetBlue Park to discuss his return to the organization that drafted him in 2001.

They'll get their chance at the Jordan's Shootout as well, but they'll have their work cut out for them. Kevin Youkilis set the bar high with his backboard-heavy barrage on Tuesday night, and last year's Second Base Cup champion leads the way with 22 points.
