Report: Roger Goodell, NFL Consider Eliminating Pro Bowl

No more "no defense, all offense" Bowl otherwise known as the Pro Bowl. After watching this year's Pro Bowl game, Roger Goodell is reportedly considering dropping the NFL's All-Star game in the future.

ESPN's Adam Schefter tweeted that "after what [Goodell] saw last Sunday, the NFL will consider eliminating the Pro Bowl."

The 59-41 win for the AFC was tough to watch at times, with a noticeable lack of effort coming from both sides. One particular instance was Drew Brees attempting an extra point that did not even come close to getting over the crossbar.

Televsion viewers may have noticed the poor quality of play as well. Ratings were down for this year's Pro Bowl, but they remain comparable to those from other sports' All-Star games.
