The NHL trade deadline is approaching and more and more, it looks like the Bruins may have to seriously pursue some help up front.

With winger Nathan Horton already out indefinitely with a concussion, the B's could be without Rich Peverley in the near future. Claude Julien told reporters on Thursday in Montreal that the forward is being sent back to Boston to be evaluated after leaving the game early on Wednesday night due to an apparent leg injury.

Peverely collided with Canadiens defenseman Hal Gill in the third period in what looked to be a knee-on-knee collision. Peverley got back to his skates slowly before skating off the ice gingerly and heading back to the locker room without returning.

Julien said that recent call-up Josh Hennessy will replace Peverley in the lineup, at least for the time being, as the Bruins head to Winnipeg to take on the Jets on Friday night.
