Which Position Should Bruins Consider Upgrading as Trade Deadline Approaches? The Bruins will look to finally solve the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday night and they will do so with a familiar face joining the team.

Andrew Ference will return to the lineup after serving a three-game suspension, and the B's will almost be at full strength in their second game following the All-Star break.

Forward Nathan Horton is expected to miss the game while continuing to battle concussion-like symptoms sustained after a hit by Philadelphia's Tom Sestito. Horton, of course, also sustained a serious concussion in the Stanley Cup Final last season, and the Bruins may want to consider bringing in another forward at the trade deadline as a little bit of insurance while he recovers from this one.

While it seems like the Bruins aren't in need of a big-name acquisition before the trade deadline later this month, you can never have enough talent. The Bruins are deep at just about every position, but it might not hurt to bring in an extra body or two to provide a little extra push as the team heads into the later stretch of the season.
