Who Has the Bruins Franchise Record for Most Assists in a Single Season By a Forward? While Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci jockey to be top playmaker of the 2011-12 Bruins, one has to think back to some of the all-time best Bruins assist artists.

Sure, Bobby Orr is the first to come to mind, and rightfully so. Orr's 102 assists during the 1970-71 season are a franchise record. In fact, only Hall of Fame forwards Wayne Gretzky (who did it 11 times) and Mario Lemieux have matched Orr by finishing any single season with triple-digit helpers.

Which Bruins playmaker owns the franchise record for most assists in a season by a forward?

For a select amount of Bruins games this season, NESN and The Four's will be teaming up to offer B's fans the chance at winning a $50 gift card to The Four's Restaurant and Sports Bar by simply answering a trivia question found at NESN.com/thefours. Questions will be posted at noon every afternoon on the day of a Bruins home game, unless otherwise noted.
