'Operation Rafter Relocation' Takes Bruins, Celtics Championship Banners on Journey From TD Garden (Photos)The Bruins and Celtics are two of the most storied franchises in all of pro sports.

After all, the Celts have the most titles in NBA history and the B's are a proud member of the NHL's Original 6.

However, for one weekend in Boston, you wouldn't know that by checking out the rafters of where the two teams play. Because the TD Garden is welcoming college basketball's regional finalists in the Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight games of the NCAA tournament, the many championship banners high above courtside needed a place to hand out for the weekend.

The NCAA doesn't allow the arenas to keep their banners up during tournament games, so the TD Garden had to move out all the Celtics and Bruins championship banners for the duration of the weekend's games, in a movement called "Operation Rafter Relocation."
