Which Hockey Movie Is the Best of All Time?

The Bruins are on a West Coast swing and it's next stop: Hollywood.

Boston ventures into Los Angeles to take on the Kings on Saturday night, which means the bright lights of the big city will be shining as the two teams square off in a game where both teams are scrapping for points in hotly-contested division races.

Of course, hockey takes a back seat to the moviemaking industry in L.A., so what better time that now to settle the debate of which hockey movie is the best of all time?

The sport has had its fair share of screentime, and the list of the best of them is tough to narrow down. We did our best. Ranging from the dramas of Miracle to the slapstick of Slap Shot or The Mighty Ducks franchise, hockey movies show the many emotions that make the sport so great. Stars like Kurt Russell, Paul Newman, Emilio Estevez and Russell Crowe have all plied their trade with hockey-playing characters, each leaving their own mark on the game.
