How Many Games Will the Red Sox Win During Their Seven-Game Road Trip?

The Red Sox were rained out on Sunday, and they may have caught a break as a result.

The team avoided facing CC Sabathia and the Yankees and is now able to slot Daniel Bard into the bullpen after skipping his spot in the rotation due to a combination of an off-day and the rainout.

After facing one of the toughest stretches in their schedule all season long, the Red Sox will now also get a chance to deal with the Minnesota Twins and Chicago White Sox, two teams that weren’t expected to make much noise this season.

Minnesota sports a 5-11 record coming into Monday’s three-game series with the Sox, coming off two consecutive losses to Tampa Bay over the weekend. After wrapping up in the Twin Cities, the Red Sox will head to the Windy City to deal with the other Sox of baseball for a four-game set.

After dealing with some of the top teams in the AL over the first two weeks of the season, a change of scenery could be exactly what the doctor ordered for these ailing Red Sox. Then again, nothing can be taken for granted in the major leagues. How do you think the Red Sox will do in the week ahead?
