Is Ozzie Guillen’s Five-Game Suspension Too Severe?

Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen is getting an early season breather.

The outspoken manager was served a five-game suspension on Tuesday for his comments regarding Fidel Castro over the weekend.

Guillen said that he "loved" Castro. the Venezuelan-born Guillen added, "I respect Fidel Castro. You know why? A lot of people have wanted to kill Fidel Castro for the last 60 years, but that [expletive] is still here."

Guillen, who spoke to the media on Monday and held a news conference at Marlins Park on Tuesday, apologized for his comments, but it's apparently too little, too late, as he will now sit out five games.
