Kevin Youkilis Back at Third Base, David Ortiz Hitting in Cleanup Spot as Rangers Visit FenwayBOSTON –– The Red Sox will have Kevin Youkilis back in the lineup on Tuesday, after he deemed himself healthy despite a recent groin injury.

Youkilis and crew will look to solve Rangers pitcher Colby Lewis. The right-hander also has a shred of history with Bobby Valentine, who managed the Chiba Lotte Marines in Japan.

From 2008 to 2009, Lewis toed the rubber for Hiroshima Toyo Carp. Valentine never developed a relationship with the pitcher overseas, but heard positive feedback from his time in Japan.

"I only saw him one year, because he was in the other league," Valentine said. "Marty Brown had him and was his manager and liked him a lot. He was developing his breaking balls for strikes. Now he has those two that you see."
