Orioles Pitching Prospect Dylan Bundy Dominating Competition, Has Yet to Allow Hit This Season

Dylan Bundy is a minor league pitcher in the Orioles system, but could very quickly be making his way to the bigs if he continues his recent run of success.

The 19-year-old Orioles prospect has retired 39 of 40 hitters he has faced so far in his pro career, and the lone baserunner was a walk. That means he's in the midst of 13 no-hit innings, with 21 of those 39 outs recorded by way of strikeout.

Bundy was the team's first-round draft pick in 2011, coming out of high school in Oklahoma with a 99-mph fastball.

As CBS Sports' Jon Heyman points out, Bundy recorded a scoreless inning against the Red Sox in spring training, facing Jacoby Ellsbury, Dustin Pedroia and Adrian Gonzalez.
