The impossible has happened! The Dodgers have announced that they will be giving away Vin Scully bobbleheads later this season, in honor of their Hall of Fame broadcaster.
To try to capitalize on Scully’s popularity, the Dodgers announced that they will not be selling single tickets to that date’s game, either. Instead, fans must buy 10-game “miniplan” packages (or they could always try the secondary market).
For the past 63 years, Scully has served as the voice of the Dodgers and been part of some memorable baseball moments. Considering the Dodgers curently have the best record in baseball, Scully must be happy he decided to return for another year to see Matt Kemp and Clayton Kershaw do their thing.
The Dodgers, it appears, are happy to have Scully around, too.
