Whether a joke or an actual precaution, the Indiana Pacers are doing what they can to keep their players from the most perilous of playoff harm.

Pacers analyst and former Indiana forward Austin Croshere tweeted a photo Wednesday of a fire extinguisher covered with tape. He attributed the act, and the "please do not hit" warning on one piece of tape, to Indiana trainers.

"The Pacers training staff is taking injury prevention to a whole new level!" he tweeted.

Croshere, now an analyst for Fox Sports Indiana, was tapping into a new level of injury concern across the league after Knicks forward Amare Stoudemire derailed New York's remaining playoff chances by taking a fist to a Miami fire extinguisher case on Monday.
