Boston Bruins Release 2012-13 Preseason Schedule and Training Camp Dates

The Boston Bruins are forced to spend the summer with the bitter taste of an overtime Game 7 loss to the Washington Capitals fresh on their palate.

But the Bruins put the finishing touches on their preseason schedule Tuesday, with seven games on the docket beginning in late September, including exhibitions against the rival Montreal Canadiens and the same Capitals that eliminated the Bruins from the postseason. Training camp will open up on September 21, a week after the Bruins hold Rookie Camp.

The complete Bruins 2012-13 preseason schedule is below.

Friday, Sept. 14: Rookie camp opens (Ristuccia Arena, Wilmington, Mass.)

Friday, Sept. 21: Training camp opens (Ristuccia Arena, Wilmington, Mass.)

Tuesday, Sept. 25: Boston Bruins at Washington Capitals, 7 p.m. ET (Verizon Center, Washington, D.C.)

Wednesday, Sept. 26: Boston Bruins at Buffalo Sabres, 7 p.m. (First Niagara Center, Buffalo, N.Y.)
