Cody Ross will be making his triumphant return to the Red Sox lineup on Tuesday night, after missing the past month with a broken foot.
Ross will get the start in left field and is hitting seventh in the Boston order. Mike Aviles returns to the top of the order as well, after Scott Podsednik was placed on the disabled list with a groin injury suffered on Sunday night.
Ryan Kalish will make his second consecutive start for the Sox, this time in center field. Adrian Gonzalez will join the youngster in right field, and the All Star will hit third against Marlins ace Mark Buehrle (5-7, 3.41).
Buehrle picked up the loss in the middle game of the two teams meeting in Miami last week. The 33-year-old was near unhittable for most of the game but allowed two runs in the seventh inning, as the Sox took the 2-1 win.
Clay Buchholz (7-2, 5.38) gets the start on the mound for Boston, looking for his fourth consecutive win and fifth straight quality start. Buchholz will have to face a lineup that features the bats of Jose Reyes, Hanley Ramirez and Giancarlo Stanton to lead things off.
