Donovan Solano made his major league debut less than three weeks ago. But the 24-year-old infielder has made a noticeable impact in his short time as a Miami Marlin.
The former St. Louis Cardinals prospect has been mashing at the dish since being called up to the big leagues on May 21.
In 13 games with the Marlins this season, Solano is hitting .474 with a pair of doubles and three RBIs. Recently he's been on an absolute tear, though, going 4-for-8 with two doubles in his past three games.
Solano looks to continues his hot hitting on Monday night, hitting second and playing second base against former Marlins ace Josh Beckett.
