The All England Club may be taking care of that, according to the BBC.
"We are seriously considering" moving back the start date of Wimbledon, All England Lawn Tennis Club chief executive Richard Lewis told the BBC. "It's often been discussed, and it would be ideal to have a longer break. It would be three weeks, ideally, between the French Open and Wimbledon."
Lewis cited "tennis reasons" such as "rest and recuperation," much of which has been voiced by the sport's biggest stars recently.
Lewis did not give a timetable on when the decision would be made or whether a shift was possible for next year.
