Australian Hurdler Michelle Jenneke Turns Heads With Prerace Dance, But Won’t Be Doing So at Olympics (Video)

Remember the name Michelle Jenneke.

While the Australian hurdler won’t be representing her country in London when the Olympics open next week, there’s a pretty good chance she’ll be hurdling in 2016 when the Games stop in Brazil.

Jenneke’s talent is apparent — watching her run one race tells you all you need to know — but she’ll likely become an international sensation for what she does before she actually starts racing.

The 19-year-old took the Internet by storm this week when a video of her prerace ritual surfaced, popping up on blogs across the globe. Jenneke sure turned a whole lot of heads with her mesmerizing dance moves before running the 100-meter race at the IAAF world junior championships in Barcelona.

See video of the dance and the race (which Jenneke blew away the competition in) with a hat tip to The Big Lead for this one.
