Leaps, jumps, turns and sequins were ubiquitous during the Boston Celtics Dance Team’s final auditions for the 2012-2013 season.
The intense auditions consisted of a choreographed dance routine, group performance, interviews and a solo performance where candidates create their own choreography.
A panel of judges put on their best poker faces as 28 talented dancers brought out their greatest moves in hopes of impressing the judges and making the team. With flashy outfits and big curly hair, each candidate displayed her outstanding performance skills and presented her talent with the greatest of effort.
After a demanding audition, the judges went behind closed doors and deliberated (for what seemed like an eternity). At the end of the day, 18 lucky participants were chosen to comprise the 2012-2013 Celtics Dance Team.
