Celtics Re-Sign Forward Brandon Bass, Who Danny Ainge Says Was ‘Top Priority’

Brandon Bass will be back in Celtic green next season.

The Celtics officially re-signed Bass on Saturday, although the terms and conditions of the deal were not disclosed per team policy.

Bass was a pivotal part of the Celtics' postseason run, a run that had them one game short of the NBA Finals.

"Bringing Brandon back to the team was a top priority of ours after the season had ended," Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge said.

Bass averaged a career-high 12.5 points per game and 6.2 rebounds during the 2011-12 season for the Celtics.
