The U.S. Olympic athletes should be proud to represent the United States in London this summer. But then shouldn’t those men and women representing the U.S. also wear American-made clothing at the Olympics?

While it seems that U.S. Olympians should be rocking American-made materials during this year’s Opening Ceremonies, that isn’t the reality of the situation.

Team USA’s pregame ceremony uniforms are American-owned Ralph Lauren products, but an ABC News investigative report found that the uniforms, everything from head to toe, include the popular “made in China” tag.

If the athletes are representing the United States of America, why are they representing clothing made in China?

Ralph Lauren, your products are very nice. But dressing our athletes in clothing made in a foreign land isn’t so patriotic.
