Pedro Ciriaco Says Red Sox Need to ‘Move On,’ Despite His First Career Home Run

Pedro Ciriaco has been impressive since his 4-for-5 day against the Yankees on July 7.

With the Red Sox, Ciriaco is hitting .338 with 11 RBIs. He also has one home run, which he hit on Saturday night against the Twins.

Tied at two in the bottom of the eighth inning, Ciriaco, pinch hitting for Ryan Kalish, clubbed a solo home run over the Green Monster to put the Red Sox on top 3-2. Alfredo Aceves couldn't hold the lead, however, and the Sox lost 6-4.

That was Ciriaco's focus after the game. He answered questions about the home run, but also noted that the team had to overcome its loss.
