Robert Griffin III Starts NFL Career With 88-Yard Touchdown Pass to Pierre Garcon (Video)

Robert Griffin III did not part the Red Sea or even score a touchdown on his first drive under center for the Washington Redskins.

But on his second time out, he put the Redskins ahead with six quick points after tossing an 88-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Pierre Garcon. One play, one touchdown.

The bomb and Garcon's evasive maneuverings should calm any worries that Washington fans have about Griffin's ability to be an NFL passer (and for Garcon to return to the form he had when catching passes from Peyton Manning in Indianapolis).

With the touchdown pass, Griffin was 7-for-7 for 123 yards and a score on the day.
